I am a mental health counselor and Magic Mike’s story is by far one of the best advocacy resource in mental health I have ever seen. What makes it even more powerful is that it happened on National TV watched by millions. This was not just a story but a powerful life saver for millions struggling with their mental health. People need to know that they’re not alone and that there’s help. Many of us take it for granted but there are folks who genuinely need to hear this because their lives depend on it.
