The POWER of Russia's Murmansk-BN electronic warfare complex

In May, the Chinese Sohu reported on Russia's Murmansk-BN electronic warfare complex, deployed on the Kola peninsula. Murmansk-BN can have an impact on military objects within a radius of up to 5,000 km. With good radio transmission, the range of the system can be increased to 8,000 km.

Murmansk-BN automatically scans over a large area. If sources of radio emissions are detected, the system's transmitters start jamming in narrow bands, so that the enemy can't exchange information.

Thanks for sharing. I’m here today because Russia may have used Murmansk when Kh-22 missiles hit Ukrainian targets. Apparently. US satellites and AWACS were unable to detect the launch and notify Ukraine air defense in time. Nobody knows why, but some speculate it was Murmansk.

Hey admin, at least you are educating the mass in some ways using this video. However, there are other areas you must understand the secrecy of contents due to CIA requirements (i.e., Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability) such as there are existing "anti-spoofing features" built-into the GPS signal systems, and they are encrypted with keys and Key-Encryption Key, (4:08) so in order to "stuff your stuff" you must first have a KEK and then decrypted the wrapped packages (still encrypted) and then you have to decrypt the packages again with Keys to get to the actual signals (or messages.) That are some standard practices that all highly advanced nations have implemented their technologies, so get the Russian spies work harder for those KEKs and other digital signal (message) Encryption/Decryption Keys.
Try jamming at your best efforts.

The difficulty in navigational systems faced by U.S. pilots are probably overestimated as the software (4:51) might have been not tested well out in advance, especially of the first batches fielded there. But don't let that fool you and simply thought due to successes in jamming and spoofing activities, done by the Russians, feeling like the fighters who are not trained to assess well of their opponents in the MMA or boxing contests before the actual fights.

They don't bother the military assets much but they do disrupt the civilian airliners and ships a lot. It was a nuisance a couple of years ago but now we are only worried about mid air collision of civilian airliners or the running aground of civilian oil tankers. Like all Russian systems they are only a threat to civilians, just ask MH-17 countries.
