will the xbox adapter work on playstation?

I bought the Microsoft Windows 10 Xbox Controller Adapter and wanted to see if it works on the PS4. Just another random test for fun!

I think its down to the ps4 not using windows I know with og wired adapters you could use a playststion controller with a xbox and vice versa.
