Festival of Flight Old Warden 2023

Some model flying from Sunday's Festival of Flight run by Modelair at Old Warden 2023. The forecast was for rain and a stiff breeze which put many people off. The Rubber Bowden was popular run by John Ashmole and some of the flights feature here. I was the only Deisel FF flyer so there's some of my Mills powered Tomboy. Finally the latest from Phil Worth a ducted fan Harrier. It had been flying well but unfortunately the original motor died and the spare that Phil had with him just wasn't quite powerful enough. Looks great though

Hi Chris, went on the Saturday when the weather was a lot kinder. Still a fairly stiff breeze but doable. Hope the rest of the year and Christmas are good... see you next May. ATB, Andy.

Do you poor buggers EVER get to fly in light winds? Looks like you're off field in a minute or less. At 1:16 I see a rubber model getting blown away but sounds like a Rapier in the background.
