NS 4000 'Sonic Bonnet' Leads NS 239

So I packed up and decided to move to Louisville, KY, lol. I've been on a little personal hiatus for awhile since moving here (about 2 years......oh boy....it has been awhile, lol), but hopefully I'm back and ready to get/be trackside again in a new area, and with a bit more trains. I'll discuss it further it another video(s) but I figured I'd focus on some railfan action first.
So here in Louisville Norfolk Southern is slowly adding the finishing touches on a new siding installation that will stretch from Bishop Lane to Six Mile Lane. There are a few tracks in the siding that need to be connected and are currently being worked on, but nonetheless the siding is almost completed and ready for use. On a gloomy March 2nd I decided to go check out the progress of its completion, due to getting word from a few railfans that the crossover (just pass the cantilever shown in the beginning video) would become live later in the week upon the heaters for the switches being installed. As I drove over the crossing glancing at the crossover I saw a headlight in the distance, but couldnt quite make out the engine, so I decided to pull over and see what was coming westbound.
Shortly after parking I heard the sick horn of a locomotive and decide to get my camera ready. A "trains a trains" is what I thought. Little did I realized that the leader of this train (I was later told was NS 239) was none other than NS 4000 (AC44C6M) leading a solo consist of racks WB through town from Georgetown, KY to it destination in Kansas City MO. Alas, had of known I would have chased "Sonic" or "The Little Engine That Could" and given a full video rather than a clip, but my main goal was to get it uploaded for your viewing 👍🏾. Please stay tuned and subscribe, if you like, as that I will be uploading more railfanning videos that I have in/around the Louisville.
