Far-right Israeli minister's presence at Al Aqsa sparks outrage

Israeli controversial right-wing minister Itamar Ben G'vir had visited the Al Aqsa Compound in occupied East Jerusalem to mark a Jewish holiday, in what Palestinians have labelled an act of 'unprecedented provocation'. The visit happened just a week after Israel's new right-wing government, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, was sworn in.

If the International Court of Justice ruled against Israel, the United Nations Security Council would be responsible for enforcing that. But the US and UK - two of the council's five permanent members, which voted against the UNGA resolution urging the ICJ to evaluate Israel’s ‘annexation policies’ and ‘legal status of the occupation’ - could veto any proposal to sanction Israel. So one can ask what is the point of the system.
The formation of Israel’s nationalistic government threatens the status of Jerusalem’s holy site since far-right Israelis have been calling for a Jewish temple to be built at the site in place of the Al-Aqsa Mosque as they believe the construction of the third temple (as well as all Jews of the world migrating to the ‘land of Israel’) would be a precursor to ushering in their prophesied messiah that would lead to their glory and salvation.
Israel needs allies wherever it can find them especially with US, as this is very important to Israel militarily and politically. Israel and US have very strong ties due to Israel lobby groups like AIPAC and CUFI made up of American Jewish zionists and evangelicals, Christian zionists which both support military funding for Israel receiving $10.5 million a day. US Israel ties was reinforced when Donald Trump moved the US embassy to Jerusalem in 2018. Evangelicals believe this would help fulfil the biblical prophecy of driving all Jews of the world from their homes in the diaspora to Israel. Evangelical leaders although not hostile against individual Jews, want to convert all Jews to Christianity and believe all Jews (who have not converted) are going to be killed in the final apocalyptic battle. They believe the time for the final apocalyptic battle between good and evil is coming when they believe they will be saved by Jesus Christ, and so they want Israel to fully control the land by driving the Palestinians out. Therefore, evangelicals are funding Israel because they need the world to end and to be saved. Israel is accepting all forms of help solely because it wants its own nation and rebuild the third temple which they believe will help usher in their own messiah and lead to their ultimate glory or salvation. Israel and US and their zionist allies need allies like Saudi Arabia to maintain stability in the region as well as all over the world in order to facilitate global ambitions.
Like Christians, Muslims also believe in the return of Jesus Christ at end times who they consider to be the true messiah and a mighty messenger of God, and a Muslim (meaning one who submits to the will of God) who will be welcomed and will pray with the leader of the Muslims at the time ie Imam Mahdi who will bring justice to the whole world, then Jesus Christ will eventually kill the false messiah (dajjal) in a final apocalyptic battle.
