Hey guys, T4 complete here, thanks for letting people in so maybe rehab therapy can continue. I was on an FES bike about 4 years after my injury and amazed my therapist when I had the machine going at 60 rpms through visualizing in my mind left right left right. Just an FYI, the machine shuts off, electrodes so firing, at 49 rpms. Insurance decided that it wasn't medically necessary and I couldn't afford the price of that therapy out of pocket. Fast forward 30 years and I was able to get into a university study about pain reduction by using the mind body connection therapy/rehab like it's the standard of care in Europe, actually had an Italian therapists. The amazing things is by using this technique my ASIA scores increased huge and you actually feel some muscles trying to fire. Let alone yesterday I could tell which foot my dog was licking when my feet were hanging over the edge of the bed. Now I'm trying to find a study that combined VR with electrical stimulation to enhance the mind/body therapy so if anyone has heard of it please leave a comment. Again thanks guess for letting ppl see into your life.
