The divide between parties is a symptom, not the actual problem. The actual problem is many pronged but has a lot to do with educated versus not, and being raised with good moral compass by good role models or The whole party thing is just because all the ignorant or less than moral folks found themselves together in a group, as did the well educated and more moral folks.

Race is a hard thing to talk about for people because of labels. Ok I walk up to a Mexican. A conversation is started. After a bit I decide I'm done with this conversation for my reasons. I walk away to avoid any conflict. Next thing I know is I'm labeled a racist. No I walked away because I avoided a conflict. I walked away because I had a problem with attitude. There's a difference. But this is the Big reason normal people avoid the talk. I was raised by parents that taught respect. Actions speak louder than words. You get what you give. Do unto others as you do to yourself. Respect is a two way street. Got more. Lady at end said something that's important. Basically she said Birds of a feather flock together. It's the people of all colors that can live amongst one another and get along that are the future.

Please, please please! I defend MSNBC to my Fox News friends, who always state how left sided they are, and Tiffany sure exposes that in this clip. Bravo to Rep. Curbelo for pointing out the truth of racism in politics is not used just by the GOP now, but when the Dems use it when it suited them. I'm not either party, but FACTS are facts.

Please stop bringing up the fact that Black people were considered 3/5 for taxation and representation. If slaves had been considered 5/5, the slaveholding South would have controlled the country. Slavery was bad, the 3/5 compromise had the free states trying to reduce the proportion and teh slave states trying to increase it.
