I'M HYPE ABOUT THIS!!!

Fellow Willow fans lmk how you're feeling about this series!! Personally I think the original 1988 film is such an underrated fantasy adventure, and it definitely laid the foundations for some great world building. I'm really looking forward to seeing the ways in which they expand this universe! Not to mention Warwick Davis is going to be amazing leading his own series here! Looking forward to revisiting his character and seeing how this universe has progressed since we last saw him!

The original film is such a fun time. I really hope that Val Kilmer can return to get invovled in this.

Oh hey Catherine, never knew you even reacted to the trailer for this show. Any chance you're planning on reacting/reviewing the show anytime soon? It brings back all the nostalgia and has a good old fashion classic Star Wars feel and charm to it. I think you're going to really like it.

Also to answer your question about if I'm a fan of the original movie Willow, truthfully I've only seen it once before this series came out. And I'm guilty of being one of those people who got the movie mixed up with the Tom Cruise's movie 'Legend' which I also only seen once.

My initial reaction when I was being told a Willow sequel series was being made with Warwick Davis my initial thought was "So it's a sequel to that movie starring that evil Leprechaun Warwick Davis who helps Tom Cruise beat Devil Tim Curry? Well that movie was alright I guess. Not sure how much material they have to make a series sequel out of it though." Then once I realized Val Kilmer was the one in Willow, I realized I was mixing up two movies as one movie. Then I remember it was the movie with the chosen one baby girl in a basket where the evil queen turns a army into pigs.

Anyways I'm loving the series so much, that I say it's the tied with Attack on Titan as my favourite TV series this year. I'm planning to rewatch the movie again then marathon the series afterwards just because I know I can't wait for a second season.
