Honestly, the unsung hero of Willow was Julie Peters, who played Kaiya Ufgood, Willow's wife. Her acting, particularly her vocal mannerisms and facial expressions, really sold the love that Kaiya felt for willow. She came off as so genuine, it just melts your heart. The reunion between the two of them at the end brings me to tears.

Warwick Davis has aged well into this part - he looks badass. Such a cool guy glad to see him in another film.

I grew up with this movie and it both enchanted and terrified me. I loved it.
It’s too bad we won’t have Mad Martigan back though. His character was a huge part of why I loved the movie so much.

YES! This is exactly what I want! Seeing Warwick Davis reprise this role has been something I've wanted for 20 years. I was born the year this came out, but the movie was a childhood favourite to watch-- and every couple years I give it another re-watch. VERY Excited to see this existing, giddy at the fact I'll get to watch it!

The movie changed my life. Thanks to Willow I became a magician. Been doing it fulltime for 12 years now. So excited for this!

Willow has a very special place in my heart. When it came out, I was in my mid to late teens, so it was that cusp of transitioning from a child to an adult. When you have to _Grow Up._ So, it was that last bit of magic. My last "Kid's movie." Now, when I'm at another transitioning age, when grey hairs persist and refuse to go away, it just feels so *right* that I'm going to be able to go back to this world again, for a whole new adventure.

I love Warwick Davis. He is underrated and sadly too often typecast(unlike Peter Dinklage), but he is a fantastic actor.

It's too bad Val Kilmer was too sick to be playing Mad Martigan in this series again but I'm definitely looking forward on re-visiting this world again!

My god, Willow was my favorite movie when I was a kid. I had it on VHS and would watch day in, day out. Can't believe this is coming out. The feels...

Warwick's positive attitude to life is infectious. I'm not surprised so many good things have come his way.

Willow was my first fantasy experience as a kid, so this trailer is really meaning a lot right now

Literally in tears watching this. I am not an 80’s baby, was actually born in 97. But we had this on vhs tape when I was a kid and I absolutely loved it. I am so happy they are bringing back original actors for these characters and I am so excited to see where this show goes. THIS is the kid of content I want more of, such a smart move from Disney. I hope it does well

The fact that this isn't a remake and Warwick is back gives me hope this might be good! I'm interested!

Willow was among the first movies to pull off morphing effects. They look dated now but I remember being amazed when I was 17 years old. Definitely excited to see what they can do now.

I'm so excited for this! Willow is such an epic story and is so nostalgic for me. I dont know if you can beat the magic of the original but this trailer looks promising.

Willow served as my go to fantasy film until LOTR was finally done justice on the big screen. It may lack the scope of Tolkien.. but Willow is a fantastic story! Nearly a perfect action/fantasy film. It is worthy of continuation.

Willow along with Ralph Bakshi's LOTR was my introduction to fantasy, such a masterpiece.
