Star Trek V/VI Assault Phaser with Laser

Master Replica's Star Trek V/VI Assault Phaser modified with a 445nm Blue Laser. Laser beam enhanced with small amount of smoke in air. Laser safety goggles being worn by me. Modified by me in early 2012. Laser and prop were purchased separately. I do not do commission buildups. The prop is not screen used and is not for sale.

The assault phaser is the coolest starfleet type-2 phaser ever. I thought it was especially neat that they copied the controls from the Beretta M9 onto the side to give subconscious reinforcement as to its deadliness.

Very nice. That beam is amazing. I was expecting to see damage... Far cooler than any kind of "dustbuster " or "dolphin" iteration .

Hi Bernard, the phaser prop was made by Master Replicas (MR) several years ago. You may still be able to locate one on Ebay. I disassembled the prop and added the laser module, wiring, and battery. Unit puts out around 600-700mW. Hope this helps.

The phasers from V looked the best. The later shows still have them looking like absurd little squirtgun toys: these things looked like WEAPONS.

If I was to own that phrase. I would heavily modified it with the most powerful laser. To make it a real working weapon.

Bare 445nm laser diodes run around that much. I neglected to add the cost of the driver (ave of $30-35 each), the Aixiz module ($12), and lens used. If you are not familiar with the LPF (Laser Pointers Forum) go check it out. You will find alot of information and people selling diodes, drivers, etc.
