Excellent quality and the sound is remarkable for a TV recording so old. Some of the highest quality video of the violin legend Zbigniew Seifert I've ever seen as well.

This is such an underrated piece of music, although also a little unusual for Volker Kriegel.
Best of German Jazz-Rock, apart from the United Jazz + Rock Ensemble.

Na ja! Volker playing fast swirls of high notes, something he did too often in later years. Eberhard, before he gravitated to playing wierd on a custom bass. Joe, has to be one of Germany's best jazz/rock drummers ever, really supple and inventive. Zbiggy, who also played with Philip Catherine and with whom I suspect he felt more at home. Finally, Rainer - he deserved far more recognition than he got and was pivotal in Kriegel's early career, contributing stunning, virtuoso solos; his solo career didn't flourish, unfortunately. But there'll never be anything quite like this again, a fresh, adventurous and talented mix of guys pushing the boundaries. Null points for the audience - typically German in their studied indifference!

Frage: Wie bekommt man von den alten 1 Zoll Bändern ein so gutes De-Interlacing hin. Auch bei der BBC sind alte Studioaufnahmen kaum schlechter als Beta SP Aufnahmen, die auf HD up-scaled wurden. Und rauschen tut auch nichts...? Vielen Dank für die technische Auskunft.

Die Harmoniefolge ist ja ziemlich banal sber der Volker war schon ein ideenreicher E-Gitarrist.
