Where's the Apple III??? Most everyone I knew that had one either got a refund, or exchanged it for an Apple 2c or a C64.

I remember Apple themselves telling people "To fix it, pick it up a few inches off the table then drop it flat so it would reseat the chips"

Not a RAM issue, it was a lose joint and iMac was replaced this Friday gone, It was an issue that had been going on for a few months, but in true Apple style they try pass the blame to the customer, and used the same theory as you did saying it was a RAM issue.

The computers apple puts out are actually really powerful. They are incredibly overpriced, and difficult to upgrade etc. But they are infact quite powerful, not exactly a facebook machine.

Why would I run Garageband when there are better options for PC ?Nothing wrong with Customer Support in Europe, in fact I say it is better than Apple. windows 8 Pro = £49 ( $78 ) Cheaper upgrades software wise, that's debatable and I would say PC is on par with Mac there...
