For those who are aware this is set in The MonsterVerse, have watched all the movies and read all the tie-in comics but don't know the specific timeline for this show, this is set in 1993 (as confirmed by the second episode's flashback scene), just two years before Monarch came back on a secret, unauthorized second expedition lead by Aaron Brooks, son of Houston Brooks.

Not gonna lie but what suprised me about this show that I enjoyed is that hearing MM Leo, Yuichi Usagi, and 2012 April as the voices of Charlie, Mike, and Annie.

Kinda makes me imagine if there was an AU about that with those three XD lol.

The events of Kong Skull Island took place in 1973 (which was after the Vietnam War). So that means that this show (presumably) takes place in 1993, 21 years before Godzilla (2014).

Netflix's Top 10! 👏 Dunno why nobody is really talking about this show, it's amazing. Can we get it to a week?
