This is so cool you upload this today as my probe I've had for years second owner 89k miles it is my baby I've owned 12 of the first gen PGT I still own three I was going to put in a show tomorrow and I put a new window regulator in it and it broke yesterday I will not put the car in the show with my window down but this gives me inspiration to possibly do it

As for the published HP number of 145, Ford purposely underrated it. Its closer to 190 HP. They did that for insurance purposes. Turbo cars at the time were pretty expensive to insure.

I have 89 food probe. Is the third one I’ve owned as the previous ones I sold and regretted it. I took care of my probes. My current one has paint fading and sitting to rust no I need to get it painted. But can you tell me if you were able to get the ac converted to new king of ac. I am having a hard time getting people to work on the as c. I had it converted but I don’t think they did it correctly and now when charged up it leaks out. Also any links to enthusiasts who are rebuilding their probes to show. I would like to show my baby but would like to know of any links to talk to people who also have probes. The car is already considered a classic but like you said to new to find new parts and not old enough to find old parts. Great videos you posted and thanks for a reply.
