"Sound is half the picture", and this video perfectly demonstrates a classic mistake.

People who record their own voices aren't aware of this - but they're not really hearing their actual voice when they listen back to it, so much as they're recalling most of it without realizing they're doing so. So they very often tend to either record their voice far too quietly, or they tend to bury it under music or sound fx, thinking their voice is perfectly understandable when it's anything but, and not realizing nobody else can "hear it" like they do. It's incredibly frustrating for other people who have to strain to make out what's being said - worse - on modern computers, there's so many msc warning sounds & alerts, and it's such a pain to find them all and turn them off, that if you dare turn up your speakers to hear what's being said, you'll go deaf the moment you get an email or a text message.

If you're going to put all this effort into your video - at I must admit, it looks like quite a cool little video on an interesting topic - please get your sound right, and your views should at least triple.

Ted Bark, I really appreciate it that you like my video and its style. And you are totally right about me talking too quietly,  but that is because there were some problems with the voice recorder.
