Honda Accord is the best pick for 2013, i drove the altima, fusion and the accord 4 is very punchy n quiet, the Fusion lacks power and fuel economy is bad for all of the models against the altima n accord. Also the accords visibility is great and is spacious inside. the V6 is even better. so great pick

I believe safety ratings count for a lot here. The Honda Accord was one of the few cars that got "Good" in every category.

They do well in the trucks. I think for pick up the Chevy Silverado gets top pick-up truck, unless the new edition (4/2013) proves us otherwise. Remember the Ram 1500 got great reviews and the Ford F-150 has always sold well.

Notice how there aren't many Toyotas this year... They even had acceleration problems that KILLED people, and they didn't address the problem at first.

I agree with everything. I thought that the Odyssey had horrible reliability though.

I would probably say the only 2 things i dont exactly see eye-to eye with is the elantra being best small car value, and highlander being best midsize SUV. i feel like honda or ford should be in the SUV segment with the pilot or explorer. other then that great turnout!

They knock the Ford vehicles for first year uncertainty in regards to reliability, but there is no concern as to the reliability of Honda's CVT in the Accord?

How can a car that has not even been out a year "reliable", you're gonna tell me a person has already driven new redesigned car that came out in october or later has driven over 100k miles.

Maybe the American car is a thing of the past. I'm still hoping for the big three to finally open their eyes and begin to be competitive again. But the way things are going it is highly unlikely.

Just to show that Consumer Reports is broken. They selected the Kia Elantra over the Toyota Corolla.  Today my Corolla needs new Brake pads and a Transmission flush.  The Elantras had catastrophic engine failures years ago. I know because a friend of mine had her engine seize before 30000 miles. I checked it out and it was a common issue.  How can Consumer Reports fix this problem?

GM, and ford have recently been improved on the reliability. However, Chrysler, Jeeps, and Dodge have a poor reliability record for many decades.

any statistition will tell you, you have to take a sample of the universe of car buyers, CR only surveys their subscribers.
nobody else does this, and nobody calls them out on it.
I like how they TEST cars, just don't believe their ratings.

I'd rather have the Camaro than the BRZ. Both cars are the same price.
