I was really impressed by Jason Watkins as Harold Wilson. A PM often forgotten and rarely fictionalised — an impressive performance capturing his demeanour 👍🏼

When Sir Churchill kissed her forehead. The Crown really gave us goosebump moments... Albeit fictionalised.

Gillian Anderson really got Thatcher's mannerisms down cold, she seemed like the real deal. You couldn't help but pity her after her disastrous visit to Balmoral.

In present day.
From Winston Churchill to Liz Truss.
When Elizabeth II became Queen her first Prime Minister is male. When Charles III became King his first Prime Minister is female.

Lithgow deserves an Oscar.what an incredibly nuanced performance.

S3 is my favorite season by far. It has the best PM and Aberfan the best episode of them all. Plus Wilson singing the raunchy limerick to the queen might be my favorite scene

What let me down mostly the last two seasons is the lack of focus on the Crown itself and proper portrayal of the PMs. Early seasons let them have their own episodes and the final season barely let them on screen.

Real-life politics aside, I most enjoy the portrayal of PM Harold Wilson. His exchanges with the Queen especially in the Aberfan episode was the best.

My favourite (in the show) was Harold Wilson, I don't know if he was a good Prime Minister in real life, but at least the character seemed clever, cautious and almost wise

Ik he gets no love in real life and on the crown but I really like the one scene with Edward Heath speaking to the guy who wants to miners on strike to be heard. Heath’s speech about his back ground is great

My favorite moments of every Prime Ministers
- Winston Churchill (I also like his "prominent Nazis!" line until one of the choirboys shut him up)
- Harold Wilson (his delivery of Princess Margaret and LBJ's vulgar limmericks to the Queen)
- Margaret Thatcher (her "ibble dibble" scene)
- John Major (his face during the "Tampongate" scene like he was in a state of WTF)
- Tony Blair (his coronation scene)

I'm glad they showed what a rockstar Tony was

Wish the last two seasons had spent less time being the Diana Show and more time on the PMs and the queen. More politics, less Diana ghosts.

Missed out the excellent actor who played Ted Heath - was in the same class at school as my Grandad!

Then at end she had Liz truss and a lettuce and the lettuce was more effective ..and HM still
Kept her promise right to the end still dignified …the government wouldn’t know efficient if it ran itself over

Two best played roles in "The Crown" are Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher.

I thought the choral rendition of Things Can Only Get Better was brilliantly funny 👏🏼
