Here's a quick tip on how to fix your sagging truck door. Very easy to do and it costs almost nothing!

This will work for any 1990-1999 Chevy or GMC truck. (Suburban, Pickup, Tahoe, Denali, etc)

It may work on other models too, but not sure since we have not had any of those trucks. (Ford, Dodge, Ram, Toyota, etc)

Thank You for watching!

I replaced all the bushings and hinge pins and the broke ass roller pin (which was the only part that did its job) but no difference shutting still sagged and still had to slam the piss out of it but this trick worked perfectly now zero sag and I don’t gotta slam it no more thanks a lot man!

This trick really does work! After replacing all my bushings and hinge pins with no change in the sag of the door, i knew that something had simply been bent out of shape over the years. This is the solution! It rrally does fix the problem!

Thank you times 1000. I watched hours of videos not one I could find that would help me with my issue. I kept fixing or messing with the top hinge. Until you. Thank you so very much. Finally my door closes just right

Mine was actually tough to open, and I had to push on it from inside. This 2x4 method worked great on my 97 K1500.
Now I get that little "open bump" that gets the door moving from the inside like the passenger side does. I didn't realize my door had started to sag, and thought it was the door lever rod that needed adjusting, since I've had to do that before too.
On a side note, if anyone needs to take off the door panel to adjust their door lever, or change it. You can actually leave all the electronics hooked up-- just pivot the door panel carefully and rest the other side on the ground, the side that is where your inside door light is will rest on the ground. The electronics are tough to separate on these old trucks, and sometimes break the old plastic connectors.
Thank you so much for the video. I figure if it sags again after a while, I'll just use the 2x4 again,

Thanks for the tip I used a crowbar on my van barn side doors. I adjusted them best I could with the hinges and it was almost there but then took a crowbar to it for the last adjustment viola working gooood! Hammer bailing wire and duct tape😂

I love it, simple fixes! Tiny shouldn't you paint the board first and place graduation lines so it is calibrated for the sag coefficient? I am being satirical of course for those have trouble with simple solutions to life's problems! Great video for the rest of us!
