Thank you for your videos on the RAV4. My mother has the exact same car as you, a 2020 Hybrid AWD but in color blue. She has driven it approx 45000 miles so far. She has not cleared the counter since new and it states an average mpg of 41.6 over the distance driven. I picked up the car from at a dealership in Oslo at the other end of Norway, a 1300 mile drive back home north. At constant highway speeds the car averaged 50.0 mpg for the 1300 mile journey.

I have had mine for 2 years now and live in Minnesota. The winters i get around 28, in the summer i get right around 40. Was in Colorado for a week and my average was 43 mpg. For what it is the car is very good on gas. Winters definitely hit it hard. They are nice cars, kinda ride like crap but most small suvs do. Toyota has the hybrids down. Reliable and good on gas

My dash shows 41.5 MPG average after 15K miles (2021 Rav4 XSE). But I try drive conservatively to see how much I can squeeze out of it. I Love this vehicle!

Your longer running avarage is probably more accurate because - City highway mix varies, weather varies; terrain varies; your fuel tank can expand and contract which could make a big difference on one time calculations. Also your tires being worn can give a false mpg boost because the diameter is smaller.

I have a toyota hybrid and in the summer I'm actually averaging above the factory mpg rating, int he winter it's about 15% below factory ratings as expected but either way it's phenomenal on fuel and will definitely pay for the price difference over a gas only within 5 years.... that and it's further between service intervals and brake replacements which equals even more money saved long term

I have a 2022 Rave hybrid with the 2.5 lite engine. I'm currently averaging 48mpg which looks a lot more then you're getting, but remember the UK gallon is 4.5 litres while the US gallon is approx 14% less. I'm delighted with the mpg!!!

Nicole I average 39 miles per gallon on my 2020 limited, Considering I have replaced the factory tires with off road tires I think it's doing pretty good .

The fuel metering system in the car is more reliable than the gas pump turning off when it thinks the tank is full.

My 2020 Rav4 is giving me a fraction under 50mpg, That's Imperial gallons.
Which are bigger than US gallons.
Update: We did a trip of 190miles the other day, and the display says
52.7 MPG average

After you fueled your car, you should have reset the millage. After you refuel whether the light comes on or it's been on. Just divide the millage by the fuel. It's all I do.

One thing when I trade in my Camry Hybrid Le I am going to miss the fuel tank that it comes with. I do on a refill 13.5 gallons on a 16 gallon tank. Bummer they cheeped out on a smaller fuel tanks from the 2018 on up!
