PAL800-V3 GOLD Overdrive - Gain Voicing Switch

Hey there! Here Luis from PedalPalFx, in this video we explain the way that the Gain Voicing switch works in all our Marshall in a Box style pedals so you can get the best setting to your needs.

For this video we are using a Les Paul Standard with Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro into the clean channel of a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III Amp with 12" Celestion seventy 80 Speaker.

For the Recording we used a Shure SM57 mic for the guitar sound and a Tascam DR-40 for the vocals.

I got one of these pedals. I use it different than others in these videos. I use a boss sd1 in front of it with a decimator g string at the end. I don’t even need an eq pedal with the toggle switch options . I play metal and get a great Slayer tone among many other great tones with this new set up. Yes it chugs .I am very happy with the pedal and it sounds great. Perfect for a cranked Marshall tone at bedroom volumes. I really love this pedal and I am very picky with tone and sound. Great job Luis on this pedal. I am very happy with my purchase. Anybody wondering whether to get this pedal or not and is it the real deal. Yes it’s awesome and get it now.

Mine just arrived (greenback) an hour ago. Makes my Fender Princeton sound huge, and I cannot even decsribe the awesome goodness that comes from my Mesa Mark V. Like a fire-breathing dragon banged a flying Unicorn. You set the bar to astronomical heights, my friend. Well done!! Good luck to the other pedal makers out there. They may as well try to make a Bandit 75 in a box, or some whirly effect. Btw - I know a guy about to sell a butt-load of distortion pedals on Reverb.

I have one and i love it. To me it sound better in a closed back cabinet like my mesa mini recto 1x12 cabinet. Also into my kemper in a fender hotrod profile i have more a real marshall feel than direct to a marshall profile ...

I will be getting this pedal…. sounds like my JCM 1/2 stack and this will be MUCH easier to travel locally with! Did you have a Phaser in the signal or was that just part of the pedal tone? It sounds amazing!

@PedalPalFx Why can't you just sell direct from your company? There to hard to get on reverb and the people buy them all are scalping the pedals at higher prices..
