Hello, I have switched over from mostly irons to mostly metal woods and all are from Thomas golf. I love my 19 wood and hit the club very well. My 19 wood has a seniors graphite shaft and made the shaft custom little longer for my height. Also made the grip a little larger for my hands. I am a Senior golfer and I hit all of the Thomas woods very well and is fun playing with them. take care.

This is a new one for me, I didnt think there was anything like this on the market. I teach a few who struggle with the irons and they are having more hybrids in the bag. If it helps and benefits golfers then I am happy with that.

If you've got the shanks and still love the game, these are a god Main reason many have them in the bag. I came across Thomas woods years back by an American chap here in UK whod been suffering with the shanks for These saved his sanity

Hi, I've shot 2 67's on full size courses with a full set of these clubs. 63 rounds of 72 or better, and 8 rounds overall in the 60's. They have been the greatest clubs I could ever hope to have.

I found a used Thomas Golf sand wedge hybrid. I actually love the thing. I picked it up because it was $2 barely used at a charity shop for a $120 club, and it replaced my regular sand wedge. I hit it flush every time. You can't flop any shots, but dang is it a consistent club.

My 9 iron is 120 yds on a good day. The 9 wood I have goes 150 yds. Its replacing my 6 iron.

These remind me of the old Stan Thompson Ginty FW woods back in the 60s/70s. There has never been a better club for getting out of deep rough. A Classic.

I currently play a 7 and 9 wood, feel like they are my long range wedges! They drop out of the sky on the green and stop like a lawn dart. I may try a Thomas 11 wood just for kicks and grins.

I would mention that I spend most of my round in the fairways. Bermuda or worse rough is somewhat hard to hit any wood out of, although the 9 does really well especially when there is a pesky tree in the way too.

A full set of hybrid metal clubs was first designed by The Standard Golf Company around 1900.

I've started putting 6 & 7 hybrid in bag after losing confidence in my irons. Fairway head seems too massive for mid to short iron.

I once hit a 13 wood, thinking it was a 13 degree three wood. Safe to say I was surprised at the 13 woods flight

i've played around with these sort of things and except for par 3's, i can't see much use for them. For a senior player though they would be a useful tool. It can be used as a chipper.. The problem i found was that as i'm not a good player, it was easy to mis-hit for the club would bounce with the wide sole . Its going to be a useful weapon if you put the time in and practice with it, but thats any club!

If the latest tech was in these where mishits traveled the same distance as good hits I would use these all day long.
