Just got it from the successful Kickstarter campaign.
It is awesome 🤩. The quality can me chosen between LOW-MED-HIGH.
However choosing HIGH is not the best option. Having a GB size PDF scan (like using a SLR camera) is not an option if you want really scan a paper book and read it on your tablet or mobile phone.
LOW or MED Quality are perfect on mobile phones and tablets. You can also just "OCRize" and transform the whole book in a text only PDF (that seems like a printed word document with standard Truetype fonts) loosing all the original fonts, and get a very small PDF, that is ideal for mobile phones or tablets readers.

Can you please tell me how many megapixels the camera has? And how many DPI the scanned pages would have? (It is very important for me to make the purchase decision).
+ I see that it transforms the scanned page into black and white (this is what I see) but what about colors for books with Images like textbooks!? (Is there a color mode in the software that can enhance colors or at least keep the original page image)?
