2022 Canyon Grand Canyon 7 | Too Good for the Price

This is likely the best entry-level MTB I have ever ridden. The #canyon #grandcanyon is simply a good, solid, simple mountain bike. My girlfriend and I were looking at a ton of diffrent bikes to fit her casual riding needs. We couldn't find a better bike for the price and upon riding this I can see that we didn't lose out on any features for the price.

Hi just wanted to let you know that your video helped me when I was choosing my bike last year! I wanted all around kind of bike that can do well in riding some begginer mtb downhill. I got Grand Canyon 8 and I am so happy about it! The dropper post is so fun and the S frame and 27, 5 wheels are perfect for me - 170cm tall woman. I was considering bigger frame but it comes with bigger wheels 29' which scared me a lil. That's when i looked up your video and this video reassured me that S frame would be fine for my height and I am so happy with the choice I made :) Thanks for help!

Great video! Was looking for an all-arounder: gravel, singletrack and commuter- this could be it. Couldn't find a bike with a fork lockout and dropper. Thanks for reviewing!

Great video! I found your channel while looking for reviews on the Specialized Epic. You helped me decide it was not for me, but this bike certainly might be!

How do you find the bike for longer rides and bikepacking?

Would like to know Pat's height and inseam as he found her 15 inch frame reasonably comfortable. For example, if I'm 5'8" with a 30 inch inseam, would it fit - or be somewhat small?

Quick question. Im stuck between this or the stoic 3. What would you suggest? Cant find any videos of riding reviews for stoic 3 like this

I'm split between getting and the Grand Canyon 8, though I'm slightly leaning towards the GC8, it's just a tad more expensive (€ 1.299 vs. €1.099), but listed as the best hardtail mtb for under € 1.500 on the website I found it on. Any thoughts on the topic? If you've any experience with the GC8, that is. Though, judging by the video, the GC7 should be good for me, as well. It would be my first actual mtb ever, after all.

I was thinking of buying similar Grand Canyon bike great video!
Just curious, are those trails made for mountain biking, or the it's just the common route for locals?
Those trails look so fun!

The problem with Canyon bikes is sizing. I calculated my size using their calculator and it stated that my measurements were wrong and it would not compute. I am an average sized person. I also chatted with Canyon reps online they suggested either 2 sizes - XS or S. WTF. I don't feel comfortable ordering Canyon bikes if i cannot be assured of my correct size or I cannot test ride one. I have been cycling for 30 years and own 4 other road and gravel bikes.

Great review, thanks for this, also want to buy this for my wife 🤟 hopefullu she will be happy on local rides with kids but also will handle easy family single-trails in bike parks.
What do you think, is this bike good for easy family flow trails in bike parks?

Great video! I'm considering buying this bike, it's on sale at the moment! The only thing that makes me uncertain is that I've seen quite a few comments saying that SRAM's SX Eagle is pretty bad. How has your experience been?

Also, how do you feel about the frame sizes? I'm short at 5'6", but would like the M model for its 29 inch tyres?

Anybody that buys a Grand canyon 7 instead of the Grand canyon 8 is going to hate themselves. For a mere $150 more you can add a Fox shock and crisp Shimano deore shifting.

Only somebody that doesn't know about mountain bikes would prefer the 7 for $1, 200 versus the 8 for $1350.
