I wonder if they are taking real world scenarios into account? What I mean is are they factoring in how many times a mask wearer touches the mask in one minute? In 10 minutes? 30 minutes. How many times in 10 minutes do they lower the mask, or take it off completely and put it back on? I remember at the start of the pandemic I would see doctors on tv all the time talking about how touching the mask reduces it’s effectiveness. After a couple of months I never saw these doctors again. The only message after that was “wear the mask”.
