I want to clarify by intimate storylines, I mean the action and plotline is a little more grounded to reality no matter how crazy things are getting, whereas the bigger plotlines have major power levels and lore aiding it. Ninjago definitely seems to do better with the latter.

What if the elemental power were originally coming from the dragons, which would answer why Ryu can give Sora powers

I think you might have just perfectly described my hate for skybound, because while the grounded focus on Jay and nya's relationship was a nice thing. In the end the overall plot just felt too big for its own good.
Vs an example like season 13, where it's not a big world ending threat but instead it's just more of a focus on Cole versus a bad king, it is the plot doesn't have to be great as long as the characters are good.

like that we have a new kind of dragons - dragons sources, but why in Dragons Rising dragons are presented as good. They forgot that the Overlord's true form is a dragon, or that the Dragon represents the power of creation, and not light as a golden power. Where is oni? Appeared on 4 episodes and disappeared. It's kind of sad...

Accurate! Although I do not share the same opinion on crystalized part 1 I think it was mid.
