In case you are new to audio networking, Dante is a popular standard for carrying audio, video and control data through ordinary IP networks, which Yamaha has been using in many of its digital mixers for over 10 years. We shall begin by connecting three devices in a daisy-chain, and work through the important settings, patching and control functions. After watching this, you will be well equipped to start mixing with a Dante based system.

Thank you very much for this video. We are purchasing 2 RIO racks to achieve 64 channels with a DM7C console. In an earlier video, I saw that FX returns are on input 49 onwards. Does it mean that we cannot have 64 input channels over dante?

Hello there! Do you have to change the Clocl-Sample rate to 96K in the RIO-D2 ? Please show us how to do that. Thank you!

Is it possible for the Dante to support Async Sampe Rate Convertion? So the mixer will run at 96khz while the Dante network run at 48khz?
