I’m not Asian but I grew up in an Asian community in French Polynesia and this is exactly what the elders did while watching TV. Or when they tried to teach you mahjong and you took a lil too much time to decide your next move 😂😂😂

My mom is a Korean hairstylist. I could hardly watch anything with her, because she would constantly talk about everyone's haircut and complain about it. AND I mean everyone. News reporters, actors. That's ALL she talked about... could not even focus on what we were watching 😂
