Swiss Melodic Dark Metal act Askara performing the ballad "Broken Wing" taken from their debut album „Horizon of Hope“. The song gives room to the haunting female lead vocals from Miril Schmidt and quickly became an all-time favorite by fans and audience. Recorded in the legendary club Nachtleben in Frankfurt.

Askara hails from Basel/Switzerland where the band established a distinct type of melodic dark metal and presents new approaches that are refreshingly down-to-earth, yet transcend the familiar and are far from generic clichés. Especially the perfect symbiosis of the lead vocals provided by singer & pianist Miril and the death metal growls from bassist & singer Elia lead to a harmonious intenseness of the melancholic yet driving metal sound.
