Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) cordially invites you to its Research Outcome Seminar (ROS) entitled, “Advanced Materials & Processing”

Qatar has the infrastructure and abundant energy to advance and diversify its manufacturing output, primarily from its main industry sectors (oil and gas, metal manufacturers, and the petrochemical industry). Although Qatar has established exports, it needs to pay more attention to foster innovation and move forward in the value chain to compete more effectively in international markets. The research priority theme “Advanced Materials” seeks to enable an inventive combination of materials, process industries, business models, and links to public-private partnerships in delivering products to markets and customers. The ultimate goal is to provide knowledge and solutions to meet the needs of the industry and society.

This Research Outcome Seminar (ROS), hosted by QNRF, will showcase QNRF funded projects in the domain of Advanced Materials and Processing. This encompasses developments and trends in engineering materials (such as metals and alloys, engineering polymers, bio-engineering, renewable energy) and the methods used to select, process, fabricate, test, and characterize them.
