I'm gonna describe my experience with this game:

I just got into Roblox and checked my friends in the main page, one that I had given Robux to so he could get something he wanted was playing and I joined to see his avatar and what he was doing. Some friends were playing this from time to time and I always wondered what it was about.

After joining I notice people having auras and standing still just for the game to tell me to spin to get an aura, I thought this was going to be like the cool old days of Arc of the Elements where you get a rare arc and fight with people, after getting the Rage aura I equip it and ask my friend what to do next, he told me to get to the shop and I was confused because I could only craft stuff to get even better auras... I was getting worried, but I saw a parkour part so I went there and did it just to receive a boost of something that I didn't know until my friend told me.
This was just the Fairy Odd Parents moment where I am the one asking "where's the attraction?", "this is the attraction, My dissapointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined.

I don't even know what's the point, you can't do anything with them, telling your friends you got something will just get a "oh, nice" reaction so why even try? The map is boring and having people standing still feels like you are in a place with hollow bodies around

The thing about this game is how it basically takes advantage of gambling addiction. I played the game myself for a bit, and I noticed that sometimes they would jangle a rare aura in your face, then last second switch to something garbage. This is a common technique actual casinos use to hook in people to their game. “Well, I was that close, might as well try again.”

I saw this and initially assumed the “RNG” part was referring to this being a randomizer, akin to Item Asylum, Allusions, Random Rumble, Randomizer, etc, and within 50 seconds of playing I just had all joy sucked out of my soul at the realization that this “experience” consistently has 100k players.

Any "game" that involves "gambling" and flexing on other people does well on Roblox.
No matter what it is or how bad it looks, as long as it has silly auras and "cool" vfx, its enough for anyone with less than a braincell to get excited by it

What pisses me off is that they have insanely good animations for the really rare auras. This isnt wasted skill since theyre just using the money they get from abusing playtime to hire good animators but its the fact that they think people will appreciate it..

They wont because THEYLL BE SLEEPING THROUGH IT.

im so sorry for the devs that put in effort and spent time learning how to make a game and spent months on it just to reach a playable state and then it gets like 100 players then this absolute non game that could be coded in a couple hours gets 100k players. im so sorry to all roblox devs. im sorry Isle devs, im sorry phighting devs, im sorry item asylum devs and many other devs who actually put in effort to make a good game.

one thing that i can genuinely never process is how it got so damn popular
i remember looking at random rng games and found sols rng which had like 500 players at the time, it was like other rng games i played but with less content then it somehow gets super popular
