Systron-Donner 110B Data Pulse Generator - Test 2

Second test using a vintage Systron-Donner 110B Data Pulse Generator, which involves a somewhat complicated connection with a Tektronix 1730 Waveform Monitor to display the pulses, sending its Pix Monitor Out to a Panasonic WJ-MX12 video mixer, routing a clean blackburst signal from a Tektronix 1410 Generator between the Panasonic and waveform monitor, and recording the images to a Toshiba D-R7 DVD recorder, as a firewire connection can't handle the video levels that are way over its tolerances.

Footage was recorded live to DVD, and the changes onscreen reflect live adjustments in colour, fades, and the Panasonic's built-in digital effects. The recording was then dumped into Adobe Premiere, layered, and cleaned up.

(Test 3 includes the actual pulses that were sent into a Realistic 32-1210 stereo audio mixer and routed to the Toshiba, using the VU meters to ensure the pulses didn't stray too deep into the red zone.)
