Built 2017 Serial # 100-0219 Quest Kodiak 100 D-FBIH was operated by Privateways Yourways private charter airline based in northern Germany.
Now I see and hear it sometimes flying by our hometown near Frankfurt, it has a distinctive loud sound so you can`t miss it flying by at around 160 kts.
A similar short field capable airplane is the Cessna Textron Aircraft Company C 208 Caravan utility plane which is a little larger.
Northrop Grumman Air Claw Company offers a version of the K100 as an aerial surveillance platform.
Since 2019 the name changed to Daher Airplane Kodiak 900 , they also produce the Socata TBM 960 900 series business aircraft.
It can be equipped with water floats or bush plane tundra wheels for backcountry flying off runway landings.
