if safe mode doesnt work for you use this method. : turn off the vita, press and hold the power button to turn it back on, keep it pressed until you see the home screen, lift your finger for a short moment and then keep pressing the power button again. The vita should boot into safe mode. Testet it several times and on my vita it seems to be the only way into safe mode. (credits:this is from Lupo Lucario)

This literally just saved my ass bro I downloaded so many games and thought I would have to wipe everything off and set the vita back to factory settings and rehack it, this dude has saved me so many times🙏🏽😭

I Screwed my Vita.. So when my vita gets freeze in the middle of deleting files, I got panic and automatically press the home button and close the tab, but when I try access to my vita shells back, I received that kind of message "The File Is Corrupt", and this doesn't just applies in my vita shell, but also the rest of my Jailbreaking/game applications that are seems to be located in my external vita memory card, and when I follow your video, the message changes to "Insert a PS Vita card that contains this application". I ended up deleting my vita shells, cuz I thought it might be the case, but no, the errors keep appearing everytime I try to open any apps.. Keep in mind, I was able to jailbreak my ps vita through some guy's yt video, he said to delete some apps that's unnecessary to keep, but now I realized if It's important (Molecular Shell such), and now I helpless, if anyone like to offer some help or solution I would be so appreciated.

If this doesn’t work you can also in safe mode select “rebuild database”

I’m getting corrupt error and when I take out my 256gb sd card on the pc it won’t let me copy anything to it and says corrupt. I gotta start all over?

2022 and this solved an issue where I could not export media from Vita Shell or load wallpapers from my ALL photo folder. You're a lifesaver!
