Singer sounds like he was trying so hard to emulate SRV that he ended up sounding like Randy Newman, instead.

This song is a master track in Guitar Hero: On Tour.
Although, I'm really confused on why people hate this version. When I was younger, I couldn't tell the difference between this one and the original. They honestly sound very similar. Yet again, majority of the people on here are Suck Band players anyway.

Maybe I just don't love SRV's voice or his mannerisms / "personality" in how he sang the original but I prefer this version, unpopular opinion I know. Especially if you grew up with it I can definitely see why people aren't a fan of covers that aren't fully faithful to the original songs.

This cover was always my least favorite out of the bunch, which maybe it could the mixing being too loud on the guitar and it's tone. The voice isn't terrible but it sounds really goofy, I mean SRV has a pretty distinct voice that is kind of a required taste, in my opinion. But this voice just sounds too animated. It's at least better sounding than the Texas Flood singer. But despite my rather unsavory opinions its still a fun song to play. One of my favorites to FC.
