Inheritance - I’m enjoying every word listening to the audible . I live in Manhattan, so I’m familiar with the names of well known rabbis, cantors and synagogues — so when all of a sudden I hear Ramaz, Congregation Kehilath Jeshuran, and Rabbi Lookstein, who I’ve never met but know his name because I have listened to Rabbi Steinmetz in conversation with rabbis Cosgrove and Buchdahl, my rabbi. My knowledge of sperm banks is practically nil, but your description and ultimately and finding the doctor who is your paternal father was gripping, as you wait impatiently for his emails… I think most people would become obsessed with finding their paternal father at any age. I’ve listened to about 3/4, and by this evening will have finished, but I can highly recommend Inheritance, a fabulous memoir, now.
