What I love most about skating at this level is it inspires people to move with purpose and push beyond fears / perceived limits in the face of danger; not just by necessity, but explicitly seeking it out. It's that willful conquering of fear - almost masochistic. I think it's no coincidence how many people who achieve greatness in their sport or field share this mindset. Nils embodies this and it shows in every section he puts out. Even for those of us that aren't involved in the sport anymore, it's massively inspiring. I know this all sounds grandiose, but I think people like Nils are hugely important well beyond the world of skating. Thank you Nils
