I'm in awe. This is the best version I have heard of this solo. The entrance where you blend in the orchestra is breathtaking. The tone, the color, the phrasing is just so beautiful. Bravo

Clarinetist is perfect, but if I had a conductor take it this slow, I would have to change careers :-) You can tell the soloist is trying everything to get the tempo up. It does make quite a bit of time to allow the high D to become heavenly. And big breath for the last note. What a great player!

As a trumpet in my school band, we're known for hating clarinets; however, I actually love the instrument when it is played as shown, so skillfully and softly. In fact, I feel as though this clarinet-hating reputation has only spread from those who have witnessed our gutteral screams upon hearing the goose-like tone of most players in the band.

You must be very experienced principal to controll the musicality of this solo in such an extremely slow tempo without getting deal with your breath, the counting also with the transparency and intonation of your sound.. Great That's why every time i want to introduce the clarinet in my classes in the primary school i teach use your Strawinsky's Three Pieces performance.. I find it
