Lockdown? I see more people outside now than I have in the last 5 years going for hikes running and having bonfires

We have a very incompetent government. We had a few weeks advantage but the government blew it away. Should have learnt from the countries such as South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore & Malaysia who did better than the rest of the world.

yeah no, not enough time has passed, people cling onto any hope but that is not how this virus works. italy had times when it looked like things were levelling off for days at a time and boom 5 days later everything spiked again.

I’m confused as to why people find it so hard to stay at home? I’m loving it, the only issue I’m having is I’m self employed and I’m chomping away at my savings

Sorry to say ...but important is a chart about the number of people getting the virus not how many died...If the number of people getting infected goes down than the government lockdown is efficient.

The lockdown is not working in my area. Constant parties, loud music, loud voices and shouting. The Police cannot do anything because they are not on public land and the Environmental Health and our landlords are useless. People are not self isolating or practicing social distancing and could infect anyone in our street. The Police have no powers to deal with ASB and it's making life in my street unbearable. The Government need to have better laws to tackle this and it's not down to a lack of manpower or resources. The law just doesn't protect people from noise or ASB and people need to comply with the orders that have come from the government to stay at home.

Why are we even asking this question after just over 2 weeks ?! Ask again in another 4 weeks time! By which time we'll have tighter rules because of the wombles who choose to ignore advice.

There should be a stricter lockdown I’ve seen people out in my village who I’ve never seen before - make lockdown harsher because we don’t wanna lose next summer too 🥺, I also want to have my first year at college, I had my birthday in quarantine - I’ve seen no police patrolling streets make lockdown strict

I live in a little town and i see people out walking, biking and generally do SFA. This is like a holiday for some people. This has taught me the british population is stupid & selfish

Hmm, they’re using logarithmic charts and comparative percentage increases... why can’t they just explain it with the real, untampered numbers? 🤔

Please report on what treatments those who died were on. We need to get a handle on what doesn't work. How many were taking zinc? How many were on HCQ? What other treatments were they on? Is there any difference among infection rate among different blood types? There are thoughts that blood type O is less susceptible.

Please this is an emergency. It's matter of life or death.

Correlation does not imply causation. There is no proof that the lockdown is working. There are other ways of dealing with this. Every country has dealt with it differently, some much more successfully than others.
