Just got my EcoFlow Delta Mini a couple weeks ago and I can get two full nights on my Resmed Airsense 10 with the heated tube and humidity settings at their usual and plugged into 110. And when charging the mini at a 110 outlet, it has fast charging that charges it from zero to full in about an hour and a half.

Thank you for titling this video the way you did. Too many of my CPAP friends are afraid of being off grid no matter how times I return with great stories. I’m forwarding your link and you can convince them that reservations are not needed.

I'm using a ResMed Airsense 10, (no humidifier or heated hose), Resmed 12vdc to 24vdc converter, and two 18ah 12volt SLA batteries in parallel, (36 ah). It gives me 3 nights CPAP, end voltage of 12.53volts, might give a 4th night but don't want to stress batteries. My Battery Minder smart trickle charger recharged batteries in 24 hours and switched to maintenance charge. I use this setup for power outages and short term motorhome camping without shore power. I'll try connecting same two batteries in series, for 24vdc, to power CPAP directly without current draw of converter, might get two or more nights CPAP.

My wife and I both use CPAP so that doubles the problem. I went with a Odyssey AGM battery from Quadratec. Testing at home it would run my CPAP for 7 days so I knew it would power both CPAP’s for at least 2-3 nights and still start our Jeep in the morning. Following 2 nights in Rubicon Springs the battery still spun the Jeep over like nothing had been hooked up to it. I had one connected directly to the battery and the other one thru the 12V power port of the Jeep. I used 50 foot extension cords from the garage. Both CPAPs used the factory power supplies. The battery cost $397 but should have a useful life at least 10 years and possibly out to 15 years. I needed a good battery for my winch anyway. So there you have it.

Thank you so much for this video. I've been using a CPAP for 10 yrs. I'd plugged my old machine into my Tacoma via the 12volt accessory port. Always had a good truck start in the morning. But was still nervous I was overstressing the battery.

So, upgraded CPAP machines and bought an Ecoflow battery. Plugged in CPAP... 8 hrs, 80% battery gone by morning. Yikes! Seeming validation I'd been a fool with my old machine.

Until your video. I got out my old CPAP, plugged in the 12volt power supply to the Ecoflow battery, 8 hrs sleep, about 5% use of battery. BOOYAH!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! The backcountry just got more accessible. I am a happy 4Runner driver again. :)

My rockpals 500w powers my setpower 45d fridge for about 8 hrs in the AZ summer...and about 3 days in the AZ winter. Looking to get a 1000w.

I run the ResMed AirMini Travel CPAP, using 12V power on a Paxcess 350W generator. I've gotten 5 nights out of it...but I don't like the humidifier or heated air. I guess I thought everyone knew that running a 12V power source through a power inverter always consumes more power. Everything I run of my portable power supply is fed directly off USB/USB-C or 12V. I never use the 110 outlets...including my fridge. It makes a huge difference.

Not a CPAP user but I'm in the 1st stage of installing a DBS and while I'm at it building a LiFePo portable battery box as well....for a LOT less money than any shown and 100ah. You're more than capable of building your own. 😉 Your DIY videos have also been guides on a few projects with the 4R. Keep on keepin' on. Cheers

Great vid. All my CPAP configuration questions were confirmed. I have a 12v adaptor and get great results from my Jackery 240 and EcoFlow River Pro. Tend to leave the humidifier off during camping trips. Thanks for taking the time to make this informative video!

Good job mate

I had this exact problem six months ago. I ended up with a bluetti EB 70 which cost me about 780 bucks Australian

and has about 716 watt hours……

My machine draws 100 W

And on flight mode where the humidifier is dialled down, it draws 75 W, so you get about 9 hours…..

Or 7 hours on full humidifier- but then she’s empty and you will need to recharge it fully during the day every day you’re out there

I did a video on my RockPals 300W using my CPAP. It works great. Usually get 3 nights out of it. I don’t use the humidifier and run it through the DC adaptor. Used it in Moab and at KOAR without issues.

Please be aware that some CPAP machine esuch as Resmed require 24 V DC. So you can't plug it into the 12 V output without a Resmed compliant 12V to 24V inverter.

Great video, thank you for sharing, I'm fortunate, since I lost 100 pounds, I don't need one of those, but you never know, what's down the road, your videos, are always great!!!!

I was very impressed that by the 12v plug the cpap took that much less power that's very good to know. I just need to find myself a 12v plug for mine.

Interesting outcome. I was for sure thinking the winner would be the Golabs... Go Figure lol

Thanks for this demonstration. I ended up going with a DC adapter and the GOLABS i200 model (which has the same battery capacity as their R300 but some other minor differences) because I could get one for $119 on a special sale. I don't use the heat or humidifier with my CPAP at home anyway, so 11% drain per night is about where it should be per your video. That's fantastic! I could make it a whole week potentially, but would never push it past 3 or 4 days at most. Thanks again.

Gotta try the AirMini + Pilot-24! Lasts 2 nights and both are about as big as a cell phone!
