How to buy comfortable heels

Pointed shoes also squished your toes, it’ll make the toes go inwards due to the shoe shape so be careful!

I don’t mean to say you can’t wear these shoes for fun, but it’s a good idea to wear shoes with a wide, rounded toe box most of the time, even if it’s not flattering. Pointed toe shoes can give you bunions and foot pain if worn too regularly. Sorry to be preachy, I’m not trying to tell anyone what to do, just offering some advice :]

If you're looking for comfortable heels and give advice on what's stable and natural: always rounded toe. Always. Pointy toes squish you toes and end up giving you discomfort. I find rounded toes are flattering.

The heels from American Duchess are the most comfortable I've ever worn! They use heel designs from the late 19th and early 20th century which curve underneath the arch of your foot and distribute the weight more evenly. PLEASE go give them a look!

Correction, rounded toes look fabulous for us women with larger feet! I don’t need the illusion of a pointed toe, in fact it looks like clown shoes on me!

I have smaller feet. Never resonated with the pointy toe shoes. Except for the early 2000's when that was all there was in the shops. Same for square toe box shoes. Now that all are available in the shops, i cannot stand to look at them, even if they are the trend, i go for the round toe box and love my small feet.

Rounded toe is perfect for petite women with larger feet 🤣. Pointy toes are not only uncomfortable, they add too much length to feet.

I agree with most here, but If you are familiar with “Kibbe body types, ” rounded toes actually look amazing on the more yin types

That's crazy, leather doesn't make your feet "breathe" any better than synthetic materials. Leather is also commonly lined with synthetic materials anyway.

Disagree on pointy toe as well, it does not look good on curvy short women, because it's not organic to their constitution. Shoes are also not made wide enough for this part of the population!

I totally agree on the heels, but not the toes. I have small feet and except for very specific outfits I hate both the look and feel of pointy toes. Round or almond are my go to

Leather will absolutely make your feet sweat. I had a friend who was getting kicked out of places for his stink. Completely went away when I convinced him to stop wearing leather with no socks during the Summer.

Also it is possible to find pointed toe shoes with a bit wider of a box for people who struggle with bunions/dancer feet/other issues. Higher end shoes generally still fit in the toe box well even if they’re pointed so look for that too! Much more comfortable than squished toes.

I have a totally opposite experience! I can't even get my feet into pointed toe shoes, because, while my feet are technically small, they aren't relative to the width. I own leather. You sweat in them. Getting solid boots off is hard because the leather shrinks from the humidity of your sweat and body heat. I also find flush heels the most comfortable. They don't hurt my ankle and are actually comfortable if chunky. I can feel center stilts poking my feet like pencils and they wobble like they'll break. They often feel cheap as well.

I can't wear pointed shose as i have a condition called fat feet 😂 but yeah my feet are wide and pointy shoes are painful as well. So ill chose comfort over style!

I disagree with wanting to elongate your small feet. I have small feet and i love them and always want to emphasise their smallness. So round toes are my go to.
