Hi Bianca..what top coat could I use on silk paint with transfers.. without changing the finish..I'm using Anchor..and my husband likes the flat finish..but I want to use a transfer and I know I need to put a top coat

Hey, I have been trying out the silk mineral paint on my dining chairs and I find it is not adhering to the varnished pine well at all, I have now used five coats to get a decent coverage and I touched one chair with another chair by accident after a few hours of drying and the paint has scratch off where they touched. I cleaned the chairs with sugar soap and rinsed them well and let them dry before applying the paint. I’m using salt water and painting by brush. I’m used to using the chalk mineral paints and never had this problem. Any ideas?
