Insane Amp Sim/DI Recording Hack - Reaper Quick Tip!

Hey guys. Thought of this really sick amp sim / di track hack to record both at the same time with 1 input and keep them both locked together in the same item.

Important note is to set your input mode to record "multichannel" that way it will record all the inputs feeding it, not just mono.

nice! I learn something new with Reaper every day even though I've been using it for years XD seems like a better managed way to work rather than assigning the same input to two different tracks where one is untouched and the other has all your processing (perhaps in the input fx chain to "print" it directly) and having the two tracks that way, this method makes it way more easy to edit and stuff! thanks for sharing!

how do you show the details of your track. what key on the keyborad you push? Thank you :) . However, I`ve tried this and I had only had input 1, input 2 - Output 3-4 are empty, it`s like there`s no signal !

is there a way to link the input FX parameters for multiples tracks ? for instance if i have two rythms guitars panned left and right, the two input FX chains for each tracks can be synchronized

Self recording noob here, but let’s say I want to send the both the sim and DI tracks separately to an engineer. Can that be done?
