From my understanding with Texas, you still have an emissions test if you are in a county with high population, IE Tarrant, Dallas, Travis, Harris etc. My brother lives in Bedford(near Fort Worth) and thought he didnt have to worry about inspections anymore next year.

Hello Kay. I am pretty sure that Texas no longer requires an inspection starting 2025. However, I think the City can still require but I am not sure on that. Have a great week ahead.
