first thank you for this videos which helped me a lot,
the member ab has distributed loads, the first load "30" affects horizontally not in the member direction like member dc so it's value will be on the horizontal distance "500" you could change the load value to effective value by "30*500/640" and replace 30 by this, the same to other load which affects vertically.

Nice videos I must say, I would like to ask you something, why changing the material/shape of the steel bars, it change the reactions (forces and moments on the base supports)? this shouldn't happen, what I am doing wrong.
