The part where Angela goes into character with funny voice and facial expressions, "Are you saying that works save us!" then immediately repents. Man, did I so relate to that, lol! I'm humorous by nature and often go into character and sometimes get snarky with it. Holy Spirit helps me keep that in check.

Bless me when you post your presence online. I’m very proud of you and the woman you’ve become and you have helped me as I have been on my path before I found your channel. I have just been told about you by a frend. I started to listen in. The best advice you are putting out there is reading the Bible. It is the mind of God. I have been collecting Bible verses that talk about renewing the mind. Witch only the holy Spirit can do . My big concerned for today's Christians is being a light in this world. I truly believe God has given you the gift to communicate His word. I am 77 years old and it has only been the last 7 years i really can put the love of God into action. Praying that you keep on the good work of God.

You have been such an amazing strength for me. I have been addicted to all the new age and knew in my heart all along it was wrong but I carried on. Until I felt empty and totally lost. I prayed for help and came across you. Thank you ❤ you speak to my heart. You have helped me see God's word again xx

Aloha! Just found you. I believe that- when you have what you need to live, day by day, your are prosperous. If you have such that you can share- you have abundance. The popular misuse of this is hurting the Christian movement.🌹🙏🏻

I used to be good about praying for enemies and doing good. Then I went thru so much toxic abuse from a relationship I became so tired of it that I slowly allowed some hate in my heart. And even tho sometimes I can get my perspective right in Christ I fail sometimes. I am working on praying for my enemies again. Months ago I also pulled myself out from all this political division and trying to watch my heart.

Yes, tell us what we are not comfortable hearing.
Great idea. We are tired of ear tickling influencers
who parrot the same topic as others, avoiding the hard candy stuff.

I’m currently struggling with my future in-laws who I think are in agreement/possessed by a spirit. It’s hard for me to forgive them and show them love, for the awful things they’ve put my fiancé through, and the vile things they’ve said about him and God. So the fact you’re enforcing and reminding me about what God/Jesus says about us loving our enemies, is truly a blessing, especially because I’m constantly fighting my flesh with it’s want to hurt as badly as they’ve hurt us. I know God is responding back to a cry/prayer I had in my car last week, through you, thank you so much 🙏❤️

100% love this format, your content always blesses me, but wow, this in-depth bible study was AMAZING, hands down my favorite edifying video you’ve put out so far. Please DO NOT worry about time, please TAKE THE TIME, we are here for the Holy Spirit speaking through you giving wisdom and life to your fellow brothers and sisters who love you!

P.s. I love listening while I do my 2-3 hour hikes, so it’s totally perfect time for me!

I don’t mind long content because I work with earbuds and can listen throughout my day. One of the reasons I love this channel and you as a person is that the Holy Spirit is clearly in your life and your understanding of scripture is better than many pastors in the church and you’re still technically new in the faith, correct? That’s why Isaiah calls seminary, cemetery…

Most Calvinists’ believe that Romans 7:13-25 teaches that Christians struggle with sin their entire lives. In their mind, the greatest of the apostles characterize himself, as “unspiritual, ” a “slave to sin” and a “prisoner of the law of sin”.

I believe it is more biblically accurate to say that Paul’s struggle in Romans 7 reflects his pre-conversion state under the Old covenant when he was striving to attain righteousness through the law rather than through faith. This passage highlights the futility of trying to achieve righteousness apart from Christ.

Taking what Paul is saying as his post conversion state and present tense struggle and reading Romans 6-8 together as you have done—that interpretation contradicts itself.

Remember death isn’t our savior, but Jesus is our savior. “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly IN THE PRESENT AGE, ” (‭‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬-‭12‬); not in the age to come..

In Rom 7, We know Paul cannot be referring to his own converted state because he already said that Christians have been made “free from sin” (Rom. 6:18, 22). The man in Romans seven was not “free from sin” and, therefore, a “slave of sin”.

We know that Paul cannot be referring to himself after salvation because once we come to Christ, we are new creations in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Paul also said that, “There is now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Rom. 8:1); Yet the man in Romans chapter seven was under condemnation and therefore needed to be saved by Jesus (Rom. 7:24-25).

And Paul said that, “to be carnally minded is death” (Rom. 8:6); But the man in Romans chapter seven said, “I am carnal, sold under sin” (Rom. 7:14). Therefore, the man in Romans chapter seven did not have eternal life.

And finally, Paul said that as a converted man he lived with a good and pure conscience that was void of offense (Acts 23:1; Acts 24:16; 2 Tim. 1:3). The man described in Romans chapter seven is deeply disturbed by his conscience (Rom. 7:16). Therefore, the description given in Romans chapter seven was not of the converted life of the Apostle Paul. It is a narration describing what happens when an unconverted sinner’s mind encounters the law of God and is convicted by it.

“And having been SET FREE from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, SO NOW present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. For when you WERE slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness” ..“But NOW having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬).

Calvinist believe that “one day believers will be completely freed from the body of sin and death” in which we live, freed from sin, etc—when we are glorified with Christ in heaven. Yet the Bible teaches that in this life we have power of the Spirit who indwells us and gives us victory in the ongoing battle with sin, etc. (2 Cor 5:17).

Yet Paul asks the rhetorical question, “What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?” Of course, the answer is Jesus Christ our Lord (verse 25).
They see Paul’s cry of “Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?” as a recognition of his bondage/slavery to sin.
The Apostle Paul never intended Romans 7 to convey the common understanding that a Christian will struggle with sin everyday and be overcome by it.

This unfortunate conclusion is reinforced over the centuries by individuals who refuse to read it within the context of chapters six and eight.

The things for me
Are using curse words, listening to secular music that doesn’t glorify the lord, laziness I.e sleeping in or not doing what I need to do, and lastly getting distracted by my phone/social media.
