I saw these in middle school. I wanted an iPod so badly. Years later as an adult, I got a collection of iPods to make up for my teen years and the shuffle is no exception. I have a third gen iPod Shuffle coming in the mail today. I have the other shuffle models and I love them.

i still have mine for 10 years and works perfectly, the green one mini, sometimes I ask people around if they know what it is, 90% give the wrong answer and are amazed by its looks haha, I use it every day and i find it strange that people are amazed by it, how funny is that

My mom was still using her's for the gym until this week. iTunes connected to it, wiped it clean to factory reset, now nothing I do gets music playing on the damn thing.
Apple didn't just discontinue the Shuffle; they erased their support section of almost anything to do with these.

I used to hate phones when i was a kid so i had an iPod Touch so i could listen to music while riding my bike without anyone having the ability to disturb my peace by calling me, now in my mid 20's i'm thinking about going back to that era and getting a Shuffle since touch screens and social media aren't that special anymore

This iPod shuffle is a focussed device, you use it whatever you plan it to use for, no timewaste, no eye-stress, zero-screentime. And easy to play/pause any time instantly, and easy to skip tracks even when running. Even the Apple watch, that claims to improve your fitness causes nothing but disctraction, by forcefully installing all the apps in the watch that already exist in the phone and sending pointless notifications on dinky little screen, while you twist your arm in an uncomfortable way. Nobody could even imagine that a watch could be so distracting. Wanna buy an iPad for reading ebooks? again you are trapped! Lots of apps, designed to keep you distracted.

I loved, and still love my ipods shuffle. I only could afford one here in my third world country at 2015, buying a second hand one from ebay. Later i ended buying a second one, cause one had the musics for workout, and the other for travel (i traval a lot). The size always was so perfect to me. But in the end, it doesnt even matter. The difficulty to upload songs on it, plus the fact that doenst support bluetooth or spotify, made me retire it, even tho i loved it. If theres, somehow, a jailbreak to the device, plz let me know.

Best were the ones that were waterproofed! Swimming was about the only sport where you could not bring your music. Bring it back waterproofed!

...Man it's not that old I inherited my iPod Shuffle 4th Gen from my grandpa.

It's filled to the brim with all of AJR's Music. There used to be mexican music in it and the music is stored on a laptop with a broken screen :(
