Scenes Window - Square One

In this video, we'll be looking at how to create Scenes with the Scenes Window. Scenes are used to create animations, LayOut outputs, and they allow you to save different views of your model.

Feature suggestion.
You should be able to save a scene and have the option to hide any future geometry. Eg: while I am modelling I would like to add a scene of a component with all other geometry hidden and continue modelling.

I like this video. One element about scenes that got me confused is that after making eight scenes--for elevations and four sections--I didn't have just the model to work on. I only had scenes. I guess that what I will try is to make a scene and deselect as many properties as I can, especially the camera location. On a related subject, I got into trouble with duplicative section cuts. Today, I learned about Outliner. I don't think dupes showed up in the Scenes panel. This seemed to be true whether or not the name varied. I did re-use the same symbol each time I reworked a scene. Maybe they will in Outliner. Question: When re-doing or updating a scene with a saved camera location, if the camera is deselected, would one would lose the original camera going forward or does it keep it because by deselecting, one is saying I don't want to change it? I save my scenes with different layers on and off. Example with lumber and with out lumber.

Then after I finished, I somehow lost all the plants in my model.
Where'd they go?
