I may be wrong but I think the reason the director insisted on him being a cat was because they’re extremely agile, fast and quiet (outside of meowing) so any other pet wouldn’t survive except maybe a goldfish. Sorry Lupita! 😂 it just makes sense. Glad she’s over her fear now though.
