Posting this cringey short video on 2% because why not?
Just so you all know, this isn’t your stereotypical ‘yandere loving-Kokichi’ Shuichi or a ‘soft’ Kokichi. Although I’ll try to refrain from accidentally making Kokichi a softie, if I ever did make him like that.

This takes place when Shuichi and Kokichi are signing up for the 53rd season of Danganronpa.
Shuichi is wanting to go and asks Kokichi many times to sign up with him, but Kokichi —even though he LIKES the killing game— declines without explaining any reason to Shuichi.

He doesn’t like being alone, and Shuichi was the only person that he cares and trusts.
Shuichi is aware of Kokichi’s alone problem, so that’s why he insisted Kokichi to sign up alongside him.

A few days before the ‘signing up’ closed to the public, Shuichi asks one more time, and receives the same answer from Kokichi so he finally gave up and says that he’s going to go sign up ‘alone’ before leaving. Kokichi had been debating on whether or not he wants to sign up and seeing Shuichi leave him lonely makes him more anxious than he already is, so he finally decided on signing up.
